ABOUT ME

I am Ivo Bergen, 19 years old and live in Alkmaar. I’m a third-year Game development student at MediaCollege Amsterdam. At the moment I am specializing myself in Unity and C#.

When I got my first game I instantly fell in love with the world of gaming. I specifically love Mario games because of the loveable characters, the levels and environments the game presents you with. When I was playing Mario Galaxy for the first time I wondered how this was made and that’s how my interest in Game development started. When I learned more about game development and the process behind it, I became more and more excited.

I’m enthusiastic and inspired to start working in game development in a real working environment. I specialize in teamwork but I’m also really good at working alone. When I want to make something new in the game I always discuss it with my teammates so we can make the best decision for the project. For example in one of my old games I worked on we had to make a basic idea of what the game would be about. We've discussed a lot and put all our ideas together and created the game ‘Station Skylab’. I love writing and I have written some stories in my free time, I game whenever I can and I love to spend time with family and friends.
